Google API Data Use Disclosure

This section explains how Timee accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data in compliance with Google API Services policies.

Google API Data Access

When you connect your Google account to Timee, we request access to the Google Calendar API in order to manage your calendar events.

Timee does not access, process, or store any Google user data beyond what is necessary to provide its scheduling functionality.

We request the following scope:

Timee requests only the minimum necessary Google Calendar permission (calendar.events) required to provide its scheduling functionality.

• calendar.events — Allows Timee to view and manage events on your calendar.

This access is used strictly to:

• Create, update, and delete events created through Timee in your Google Calendar.
• Read your Google Calendar appointments to display them in Timee calendars.

Timee does not:

• Access other Google services
• Access your emails, contacts, or files
• Create or delete calendars

Access is limited only to the calendar(s) you explicitly authorize.

How We Use Google User Data

Timee uses Google user data exclusively to provide its scheduling functionality.

We do not use Google user data for:

• Advertising
• Marketing
• Profiling
• AI/ML model training

Data is only used in direct response to user actions (e.g., booking or updating an appointment).

Data Storage and Security

• Timee does not store the content, description, or details of your Google Calendar events on its servers.
• We store only the minimum required authentication data (OAuth tokens).
• OAuth tokens are encrypted, stored securely, and used only for authorized API requests.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data.

Data Retention and Deletion

• Google user data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service.
• You can revoke access at any time via your Google account permissions page or the Timee application settings (Settings / Google Calendar - Microsoft Outlook synchronisation).

Upon revocation, Timee immediately loses access to your Google data.

Sharing of Google User Data

Timee does not:

• Sell Google user data
• Share data with advertisers
• Transfer data to data brokers

Google user data is never shared with third parties.

Limited Use Compliance

Timee's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

• Data is used only to provide user-facing features.
• Data is not used for advertising purposes.
• Data is not used to build or improve generalized AI/ML models.
• Data is not transferred to third parties, except as required to provide the service or comply with the law.

User Control

You remain in full control of your data:

• You can disconnect your Google account at any time.
• You can manage permissions directly from your Google account.
• You can stop synchronization at any moment.
